Small but powerful ‘all-rounder’ line laser module with 150 mW power and bright red laser colour. Excellent visibility for integration into machines or work environments. The adjustable focus and the adjustable line position offer high reliability and a long service life.
- Bright red line
- Various line angles selectable
- Wide voltage input
- Low heat development
The new LLMi laser modules from MediaLas are the result of the experience and knowledge of recent years. These small and well thought-out all-rounders have integrated hybrid driver electronics from the NeoDrive series with a wide voltage input that has been designed for a wide supply voltage range. The previous external switching converters in the supply line are no longer required with the new LLMi module. In addition, we have now designed all modules in principle in an isolated construction, so that no more disruptive circuits or connections can occur even when several modules are operated in parallel in one machine. The hybrid design of the electronics results in a high degree of efficiency with a correspondingly low heat development. Most LLMi modules can therefore be operated without further cooling.
In addition to the small dimensions, the further improved reliability should be emphasized, with a very long service life. The focus, i.e. the line width at the point of impact, but also the line position can be set. This is done quickly and easily by turning the front brass ring, which also contains the optics.
Electrical connection
The laser modules are provided with a cable kink protection and a flexible hose line. The ends are designed as open ends with wire end sleeves and can be clamped directly to an existing power supply unit or a distribution rail. Reverse polarity protection is integrated in the module. Numerous connectors can be attached to customer specifications. Furthermore, customer-specific cable lengths of up to 100 m are possible. The housing has no elctrical potential.

LLine length
Depending on the application, the modules can be selected with different beam angles that produce the length of the laser line. The larger the beam angle, the longer the line. The following angles are available for our LLMi modules:
ACHTUNG! The line length increases linearly with distance. At a distance of 2m, the line length is therefore twice as long, and vice versa.

Line width
With the KLMi modules, the line width, also known as the focus, can be set quickly and easily to the desired width or distance. The optics are mounted in the front brass ring and can be adjusted very easily and safely using a fine thread. The line width can be adjusted to the technically feasible optimum for any desired distance. Once the desired line width has been found, the optics are secured in the thread with screw varnish. Further information can be found in the video and in the enclosed information sheet.
Visibility and brightness
The brightness of the laser line depends on many factors. In principle, the following applies:
- Line length: The longer the line, the lower the brightness, as the light output is distributed over a larger area
- Laser color: Green looks much lighter than red or blue
- Work spacee: The darker and matte the surface, the darker the light appears
- Ambient brightness: The brighter the ambient light, the darker the laser line appears. This is due to the human eye, which reduces its sensitivity, depending on the ambient brightness. In direct sunlight, it is very difficult to see a laser line because the retina is already saturated
- Laser power: The higher the laser power, the brighter the laser line
Laser safety
The laser safety of line lasers can generally be represented well and is not particularly complex.
Equipment / Options
As standard, the modules are equipped with a high-quality 3-lens glass collimator, which allows a very good beam quality and focusing of the laser beam, even over longer distances.
Our offered glass line optics generate a laser line with so-called Gaussian-like distribution of light. The laser line is bright in the center and then becomes darker and darker towards the line ends, while the regular plastic optics produce a fairly uniform distribution over the entire beam.
