FloorPoint XT lasers with 120mw - the new generation of optical positioning in industrial areas!
FloorPoint lasers are specially developed laser beamers for the projection of virtual, abrasion-resistant position markings on industrial floors, in warehouses or other buildings. The 120mW laser unit is mounted overhead on a hall ceiling or on a hall wall and draws a clearly visible cross of light on the floor. A FloorPoint laser marks positions, driveways, stop lines or danger areas safely, abrasion-resistant and permanently, even in very dusty and dirty environments.
- Display of positions on industrial floors, even during daylight
- Demo visualization for exhibits
- Marking of parking spaces
- Guideline points for workers, forklifts, or any other industrial trucks
The compact laser unit is mounted on the ceiling or on the wall and beams a visible laser cross on the floor. Installation is quick and easy to do: screw on the projection unit, plug it in, align it, done. Once the laser projector is in operation, no special service is required to ensure regular 24/7 operation. A full function is provided even at the lowest temperatures, as this has already been taken into account during development. FloorPoint XT lasers offer an extended working temperature range of -15 to +45 degrees C, and therefore are suitable for unheated areas.
Depending on the installation and structure, FloorPoint lasers are specified in laser class 1 or 2 and are therefore harmless to the eyes and skin. Of course, you will receive detailed instructions with detailed safety instructions for every FloorPoint device.

CROSS SIZE
Depending on the particular use case, modules with different beam angles can be selected, which generates the size of the laser cross. The larger the beam angle, the larger the crossed line will be. The following angles are available:
Angle |
Distance |
Cross size approx. |
15° |
1 m |
25 cm |
45° |
1 m |
0.85 m |
55° |
1 m |
1 m |
The cross size increases linearly as the distance increases. Therefore at 2 m, the cross size is also twice as big.
LASER SAFETY:
The top priority for the use of lasers in a commercial setting is laser safety for workers/operators. However, ensuring safety does not generally pose a problem, and is not particularly costly to achieve. Laser safety is something we deal with every day, which also makes us the right ones to contact when it comes to the classification of laser equipment. According to the latest guidelines in EN 60825-1, cross line lasers are so-called "extended sources" and can be treated more simply than normal bundled sources for point lasers.
You will receive further, detailed information with each delivery of our line laser modules and associated equipment. We are at your disposal and would be happy to advise in this matter.
NOTES
- Pay attention to the class of the laser!
- Laser must be attached to the mount during operation!
